How do I choose between full cone and precut styles?

Choose full cone for new installations where the boot can slide over the end of the tubing; choose precut when you know the exact OD or when sliding a full cone isn’t practical. Sizes 1, 2, and 3 are full cones; sizes 4 through 9 are not available as full cones.

Do I need caulk or sealant to install Pipetite Standard?

No. The base has self-sealing ridges that provide excellent surface contact, so no caulk or sealant is required.

What is Pipetite Standard made from, and what temperatures can it handle?

Materials are hygienic white silicone with a 316 stainless steel ring. It is rated from -40°F to 500°F, and materials are compatible with the cleaning solution.

Are mounting anchors required for installation?

Refer to the Dimensional Data table for the number of anchors needed by size. Bolt holes are 0.177 inches in diameter, and wall anchors are available for purchase on this page.

Can I use Pipetite Standard on existing piping?

Pipetite Standard is intended for new installations where the boot can slide over the end of the tubing. For existing piping that cannot be removed, CSI recommends Pipetite ReBoot.
