Alfa Laval Condition Monitor
The Alfa Laval Condition Monitor (CM) is a wireless vibration monitoring system that tracks the operating condition of pumps. Relying on a 3-axis accelerometer and internal temperature sensor, the CM collects and records up to three months of data with its onboard memory. This device helps reduce unplanned downtime by tracking pump conditions at preset intervals and mapping trends so you can schedule equipment maintenance accordingly. The CM transfers data via Bluetooth to the mobile app when in range. Link up to 10 condition monitoring devices to a CM Connect to send equipment data to the cloud. Constant pump monitoring means constant support for your plant.

Working Principle
The CM activates when vibration is detected. Alternatively, you can use a magnet to wake up the CM. See the CM manual below for additional details. Tri-axial vibration and internal temperature are monitored at the preset intervals you determine. The data can be retrieved via Bluetooth connection to the CM through a mobile application. The app can show current trends against original benchmark values and this data can be used to potentially decipher the root cause of failure if it were to occur. An LED indicator on the CM provides visible feedback of the equipment's operating status. Simplify your preventative maintenance with advanced failure notifications.
