February 20, 2020 — Springfield, Missouri — Central States Industrial Equipment and Service, Inc. (CSI) is proud to announce Connor Menown as Business Development Leader.

“Given the popularity of ordering equipment online and by phone, we want to be nimble, knowledgeable and driven to succeed, and Connor fits that description to a tee,” said Natalee Kauffman, Sales Manager.

With a master’s degree in physical education and athletics administration, Menown’s leadership experience adds value to the customers who contact CSI for the expertise they need. “I take a lot of pride in being able to connect with people,” Menown said, “especially when it comes to motivating my teammates and helping customers explore their specific applications and find the best product solutions.”

Connor brings a competitive spirit to sales, with an intense focus on the success of his customers. He graduated with honors from the University of Mary where he is also a 2016 William Penn University Academic Achievement Award Recipient.

“Earning a master’s in Administration taught me the importance of accurate, timely information, careful processing, and fast response to customer needs,” Menown said. “Sales is a critical hub where we have to match easy access via phone or the web, with fast, accurate information and on-time delivery.”

A native of Springfield, Missouri, Menown played four years at William Penn University from 2012-2015 where he was a two-year letter winner on the offensive line for the Statesmen. Menown earned 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Football Scholar-Athlete accolades his senior season at William Penn University.
